with russia collapsing, many billionaires are seeing fortunes put at risk by Putin's power.

Either Putin maintains an Iron grip (likely making the economy even worse), or the Oligarch's remove him from power (death seems to be a requirement for him to release power).

I'm betting when Money wins in Money vs Power in Russia, and Putin falls off a horse or something.

The more likely scenario is Putin has them killed then discovers that the billionaires had a will leaving their money to the state.

Putin is ex KGB after all...

An insider perspective seems to be that Russians are used to battening down the hatches and that economic sanctions don't work. Seems like a chronic weak economy helped break up the USSR, so I'm not so convinced.
