William Hurt passed away at 71 - RIP

Agreed about Body Heat! Kathleen Turner was amazing paired with him in that movie.

Also enjoyed him in that newscaster movie with Holly Hunter.
 
Bummer... I remember him well in Mr Brooks. Scary to me when folks are passing away from natural causes at "only" 71.

Kiss of the Spiderwoman was amazing.
 
For me Body Heat was most memorable. Hurt, Kathleen Turner, Mickey Rourke. What a cast and what a story.

But he had a deep book of work. Fine actor.
 
I loved his work from when I first saw "Altered States" in the theater back in college to watching "Goliath" on Prime Video just this past year.
 
He died from cancer. I have lost 5 friends the same way between the ages of 59-67.
