I think it’s common sense that you need a emergency fund and then retirement savings. I was young when I married my ex and he was 10 years older. When we got married people gave us money and my parents paid for a small wedding and we paid part of it. I wanted to spend the money on furniture and he insisted we save it. Instead we took our parents hand me downs. Good call as 4 years and 2 kids later with me being a SAHM my husband got hurt at work and couldn’t work for 6 months. Worker Compensation was slow to kick in. Parents asked if we needed to borrow money. Nope because ex was smarter than me:))
 
The money illusion link leads to what appears to be a political site that tries to tackle a few financial subjects. Not that interesting for me.
 
The first link is interesting, as Van said the second is too politically biased, whether correct or otherwise.
