I installed the software and made a call to their test phone#. It sounded just fine. I asked my brother and a friend if they could install it since I don't have a cell phone but they haven't yet. They have cell phones with lot's of minutes so they are not motivated enough.

I've been using Skype for quite awhile. It works great me as a complement to my cell phone. I use it to call others on computers for free. I also deposit 10 euros or so once in awhile (SkypeOut). This allows me to call land line or cell phones. I use the SkypeOut when my cell minutes are running low and for international calls. It's a bargain, works well, and doesn't require any monthly charges or contract. THe software is high quality, easy to use, and includes a good IM client.

For the last 6 months I have been using SkypeOut for all my long distance and international calls. No problems so far.
