current car i bought in 2004, might trade it in next year or 2010

mods can move this to 'other'...mis-posted it here

3 years 11 months.

2 cars.

- 3 months
- 6 years

2004 Honda CRV, 1990 Toyota 4X4, 1976 Chevy Monte Carlo

93 Chevy pickup and a 2006 Pontiac. I bought the Pontiac last time GM was giving away cars.

88 Jaguar, 99 Suburban, DW 06 Buick, Just sold 74 Benz.

One car, almost 3 years old. I really do not like old cars.

Ha

My honda is 1.5 yrs old (sold the 16+ yr old toyota earlier this year).

We have two vehicles, both purchased new. One is now six years old, the other is three years old.

These replaced vehicles that were 17 and 16 years old at the time, which we also purchased new.

FWIW, all of our vehicles are/were American brands.

11 (small American, bought used) and 4 (Japanese SUV, bought new). DH and I take turns driving whichever is closest to the street, but have been using the older one a lot.

'89 BMW 325i for the gal
'93 BMW 525it station wagon work truck for me
'56 Chevy wagon to empty our pockets into
'56 VW bug to fill air space in the garage

20-year-old Chevy Nova, 15-year-old Honda.
We were about to replace the Nova but.... not right now.
If we could find someone willing to fix a leaky seal on the transmission, I wouldn't even think about replacing it. But it's impossible to get parts for the Nova anymore. It's one of those Toyota Corollas made in the U.S. so some parts are metric, some U.S.
My mechanic claims that when he calls up Chevy they deny ever making the car.

1 Car - Lexus GX 470 SUV 2005 Model purchased "off the truck" in December 2004. Just the two of us - good to have a large vehicle when we travel. Will probably look at something to replace it with in 2010.

1995 Ford F-150 short cab bought used 147,000 miles . 1999 Lexus LS 400 bought used 180,000 miles, Hope to get another 80-100,000 miles out of it.

2 cars:

2005 BMW 330i 47,000 miles
2007 Hyundai Elantra 12,000 miles (?)

We'll probably keep these two cars for a very long while.

2006 Chevy Equinox, 3 yrs old as of last month.

heh heh heh -
