How To Thank Veterans For Their Service

Thank you for the thank you!

I took full advantage of the freebies yesterday. I do not feel guilty at all. As a disabled Vet, who served from 78-82 when the public despised the military, it is about time Vets received their due respect.

Here are the freebies I went for.

Breakfast at Perkins
Two free full service car washes at Paradise
Free haircut coupon at Great Clips
Dinner at Applebees
Blizzard at Dairy Queen

Monday: Dinner at Golden Corral.

I give tax-deductible cash donations to my local VFW chapter and attend monthly public dinners. Very nice guys there continuing in their mission of public service.
