Shocked that the Bodum burr coffee grinder that we bought on amazon in December 2012 for $119 is now available on amazon, new, for $59.99! (albeit with a note that it is reduced 40% from the "normal" price of $99.68.) Luckily, ours is still going strong and we aren't in the market for a replacement, despite DW using it every day until we retired, and since then, every day when we are at home.

Sure didn't expect that when one of our sons asked about what DW's grinder cost.

Televisions have been a race to the bottom for comparable models. I can guarantee that a comparable TV to your 3-year-old TV is cheaper now than 3 years ago. The same can be said for mobile devices (phones, tablets) and computers.
