RIP Gary Rossington

Guitar great and last surviving original member of Lynyrd Skynyrd Has passed away at only 71. I've been listening to his work since about 10 years old, and seen in concert several times over the years. Thank you for all the great music and memories.

Along with Allen Collins, his guitar work on "Freebird" was memorably great. I wonder how far Lynyrd Skynyrd could have gone together if not for that plane crash?

I spent the day after my 21st birthday at an outdoor concert with Lynyrd Skynyrd, yes, Peter Frampton, and Gary Wright. Best concert I ever attended. And Lynyrd Skynyrd was the best band that day. RIP Gary.
