I have a tube of Rutland 2000 degree furnace cement that I am going to use to seal the gap between the stove and the exhaust pipe.

The instructions say "air dry for at least one hour. Within 30 days heat gradually to 500 degrees to cool."

Am I understanding this correctly to mean that I can use the stove in a few hours after applying the cement?
