PSA: Gmail & the latest iPhone update

A few days ago I opened my GMail to find all older emails deleted. Nothing in my account was earlier then Mid Dec.
I did some investigation and found that Apple has a problem picking up GMail during IOS updates.
This has never happen to me in the past. But as a Public Service beware of this
fault.

Solution: Go to Gmail help and inquire how to recover deleted gmail. It too long to detail in this limited space.

You didn’t lose them if you log in on a pc did you? I wouldn’t like it, but could live with it if it was just my phone. But, if it causes a problem with my base gmail account, that would upset me very much.

You may not have lost anything. Not sure if you’re using iOS mail or a GMail app. I’ve read about the issue before and there are several fix articles online, here’s just one https://www.easeus.com/iphone-recove...om-iphone.html

Best of luck.
