What's driving the Dow?
+400, -200, +250 ish.....if we could harness the oscillations of the Dow we'd have solved the energy crisis. Do stock prices go up and down because of earnings reports anymore? At some point folks are going to get over the Bear Stearns thing, look at inflation, a couple of quarters of zero growth, reduced purchasing and consumer confidence numbers and make some rational decisions.

On a daily basis - Emotion, Emotion, Emotion - It's a beautiful thing since it brings Opportunity, Opportunity, Opportunity. Until I really understood this, I thought the market was a sham.
