Caught by my Browning wildlife motion detecting camera, about 100 ft. from my house. This guy was photographed in my neighbors yard about an hour an half later then forded a nearby brook and wandered off in the this woods. I ride my ATV on this trail on our property and often the camera will get deer, coyotes, turkeys, etc. on it, mostly at night.

On motion, the camera takes 8 pictures 1 second apart.

Uh oh, you're going to get sucked in like I did....

I can spend way more time than is healthy playing with Photoshop. Elements is a great way to learn it and you can do 90% of what the full version will do. But then after a while you want that last 10%....:D

I know - its addicting. I'll really have to dive in deep this winter when I have more time. Hopefully I won't get far enough that I want that last 10%!

New to the forum

Happy to see the photography section. I love to combine hiking and astrophotography. Here's a shot I took last week of the Milky Way over Mt Rainier.

Sony A7RII
Rokinon 14mm
Ioptron Skytracker
Combination of two 4 minute exposures

Awesome! Great composition with the Milky Way directly over the mountain peak. Looks like a volcano.

Impressive! Nothing like happening to be in the right place at the right time.

I'm just back from Norway. It's a beautiful place, but the weather did not cooperate a lot of the time. As I process the photos I'll put some up. This was from a boat tour along the Osterfjord out of Bergen.

During our recent trip to the interior of BC, we happened upon a mother and baby moose. Taken from the SUV.

After a picnic in the Gulf Islands, south of Salt Spring, we caught this sunset made up of jet trails at the end of a sunny cloudless day.

The NK'Mip Winery where we stayed is renowned for its whites and Pinot Noire.

This is the Indian Brave sculpture out of metal that is a signature piece upon entry to their reserve.

Norway 2 The day before was so foggy that you couldn't see 50 ft. This morning we took the road that went above the Aurlandsfjord and got a pretty cool view of fog low on the water.

From our recent Colorado trip to see Aspen colors. Used my new Lumix FZ1000 Panorama mode and then some cropping. Still have a lot to learn.Wish I had this camera 30 years ago when I was "really" into photography.
