We have not gone anywhere with our RV... After spending 5 weeks to serve as a juror in Superior Court, meaning driving everyday to downtown Phoenix, I decided that we had procrastinated enough in getting our roof leaks repaired, and our stained ceilings fixed. So, the inside and outside of my home are now in shambles.
The roofing team came early, waking us up at 6AM, tearing the tile roof apart. These poor guys have to start early, so they can quit early at 11AM before the Arizona sun cooks them to well done. The damage under the tiles was horrible, as they removed the tiles and exposed the felt layer.
And then, at 8AM, the drywall people come. My living room, 3 of the bedrooms, and my master closet get ceilings scraped, patched, and to be finished. All our furnitures are now piled up in the other rooms. Some of the leak stains in the bedrooms are not that bad, and I would just dab some paint over them, but the insurance adjuster wanted to "do it right", and I let him.
Arghh...
At least we still have the bath rooms, the kitchen, and the other bedrooms to keep us from feeling like the couple in "The Money Pit".
