Anyone else having an issue with their er.org RSS feed? Mine hasn't fed any new threads for a few days.

I have no problem. I am using "The Old Reader" as my RSS reader.

I just tried again. There were no problems. My advice would be to contact the Inoreader help desk.

Yeah, I may have to. The reader error message is:
The URL returned HTTP code 403


Not sure what side is causing it, but I'll check with Inoreader.

Here is what their tech support says:


"It looks like the provided feed is using Cloudflare protection that cannot be parsed here.

Please note that similar protection doesn't make sense for RSS feeds since the polling servers are not browsers.

It could be geo-restriction, rate limits, or something similar.
You can try contacting the feed publishers and ask them about that."

I've noticed a cloudfare injunction when browsing certain sites on the www. I see the message pop up and eventually the page will load. What is going on, who added CloudFlare into this mix?

It's a gateway. But how do you opt out? IS this a gateway on ER end?

Websites add cloudflare as a redirection step when they are getting attacked by various entities. It makes it harder for a DNS attack by thousands of bots for example.
