I am 62, work FT (3 12 hour shifts per week) and make a good income. I get healthcare benefits so I don't need Medicare at 64. My FRA is 66 and 8 months, which will occur in March 25, 2025. I have decided this date is when I will retire for good and take SS.
What date/month would the 2 year look back start date be for Medicare to determine my premium? That is the date when I will switch to part time (24 hours per week). Is it a full calendar year (e.g. Jan 2023) or 2 years from the actual date of application?
