proshares short S&P500

I hedged some of my long positions with proshares short sp500 symbol SH.

The exchanges seemed to have halted trading on this.. and other similar things like sdow which is a 3x short position. I've read that Italy has halted short selling on things.

Anyone else notice if say put options are not being traded or certain sectors locked?

I got that trading halted on sh at schwabb and also on a stock put there. Didn't see it on tdameritrade and it disappeared at schwabb. Other stocks were not displaying that trading halted message at that time though. Maybe just a glitch. Sorry if I spooked anyone.
