I bought a couple new flip-style basic Tracfones to replace older flip-phones on Page Plus but the older phones have continued to work.

I guess Verizon hasn't completely shut down 3G yet.

I just read the other day that Verizon was finally shutting down their 3G network, after a couple of delays.

The article linked above says it looks like Verizon will keep 3G for awhile, possibly through end of 2023.
