Football, High School version

Did not see the Officials signal a touchdown, but in normal high school football rules (NFHS), only the offense can score on the extra point. Play should have been blown dead. There are a few places (i.e. state of Texas) which do follow the normal high school football rules.

But the kid in question is certainly a highly recruited athlete

AFAIK it's illegal at any level (including NFL) to jump over the linemen. Reading the tiny article I'm not sure it was written by a human anyway, at least not one that ever got beyond 5th grade. I assume the reason the play succeeded was because no one was expecting it, because everyone else on the field knew it was illegal.
