Been watching Monsieur Spade and finding it more a time killer than anything. I have to wonder at the idea of picking Clive Owen for the leading role. There is nothing about him that brings Sam Spade to life IMO.

In Italy, we always drink the "house" wine, and it is always good with dinner. After dinner we ask about Limoncello, and that usually separates us from the usual tourists because somebody there probably makes their own and are happy to share!

Teroldego sourced from Lodi made by a couple of my favorite wineries in the Shenandoah Valley, quite nice. Lots of good wine in Lodi. Grape capital of the nation. Worth a look.
