Not that Dave Ramsey and his callers is not a current topic. But why reactivate an ancient thread? Has anything really changed?

2007 was a very good year. The year I retired. And nothing has really changed, I'm still retired.

I guess I'm a bit shocked at the retired Army Major.....uhh, they are pulling close to $36K in a pension per year.....a lot of people would get by just fine on that amount.
Mr Ramsey's advice is good for anyone, however, I find the library a great place to get this information as well. A bit more economical, for sure.
