I left work for the last time. And been invited to works Christmas Party this afternoon by my old boss. They still love me. LOL

I retired about 18 months ago. Last week I went to a retirement party for someone I am still friends with and saw lots of people I haven't seen since I walked out the door. Talking to them made me even more happy I retired when I did. Nothing wrong with the company or the work. Just the grind, the effect on people and that I don't have to do that anymore.

The Wife and I had a blast. One of the guys has his retirement date set in 8 months...
And I taught him in his EMT class.
