Fun trick with a Banana. Stop it, you with the dirty mind!
Thread a needle with thread, then sew the needle into the banana in and out between the skin and the banana going around back in the same hole you came out of until you have gone all the way around and back out the original hole. Now pull the thread in such a way the it slices the banana. do this up and the whole banana about every 5/8". Now amaze your kids when you peel a Banana that is already sliced.

But what if I have a left curving banana slicer and a right curving banana?

A small pin works wonders when slicing bananas.

Stick the pin into the banana and wiggle it back an forth. Make sure you don't pierce the skin from the inside out. Do this about every half inch.

When you peel the banana it is already slice for you.

You can dazzle your friends with pre-sliced bananas still in the peel.
