Do You Have a Mini PC? Looking for Feedback...

AI answer:
Open Start
Search for Command Prompt
Right-click the top result and select Run as administrator
Type wmic memorychip get devicelocator, manufacturer and press Enter

I tried this on my computer and I got:

DeviceLocator Manufacturer
ChannelA-DIMM1 1315
ChannelB-DIMM1 1315

There is also (typed at the CMD prompt):

wmic memorychip list full

I tried it on my computer and once again I got a manufacturer code of 1315 for my two DDRAM chips. I also get a part number of BLS8G3D1609DS1S00.

If I search on that part number I find it is a "Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB" which I know is correct.

I'll give it a go on the mini PC later today. Thanks!

Checked my wife's new mini PC for memory by using this DOS command:

wmic memorychip list full

and got a whole bunch of data, the upshot was that it has dual 8 GB sticks in it, part number is:

CT8G4SFS842A

Google search shows that it is indeed Crucial memory.
