I've gone wild with the smart home stuff ... first a few switches, then lots of switches and plugs, then replaced the old security system with a new smarter one. Then I did the doorbells...now moving on to more cameras.
This was a neat little project, because I reused the existing cable bundle between the big dish and the family room for power and then put a 5-port mini-hub with powerline ethernet to plug the cameras into and put it all in a waterproof box. All worked on the first shot, surprising myself.
