I am very behind in tech toys.

Is there a way to get movies onto an IPOD(the ones with 30g drive that cost $250)? I know you can buy movies from itunes, but that cost too much. What about movies that I already own? Can I copy/import them?

JD, are you on Windows, or Mac?

Commercial DVDs are copy protected, so you will need the programs listed in those article to copy them. Nice of the companies to make you jump through hoops to use the product you bought from them legally, huh? While it does nothing to stop real pirates anyway. arggggg.

Well I bought the IPOD over the weekend for my wife. It's a pretty cool device. A friend told me to try this software...

Not sure it that works with protected dvds.

I wish movies were a little cheaper from itunes. At least it's easy to get music on it. I put 400 songs on it already.
