Thanks Harley. I totally forgot that summer ends in late Sept. I was hoping to hit my goal by next summer. Now the pressure is really on.

Our 18th wedding anniversary is coming up this weekend. Although we will be buying boat engine parts to celebrate, it will be nice that we've both managed to drop 29 pounds since the beginning of the summer, so perhaps a good meal out is also in the cards!

Fell .2 lbs short of my short-term goal. Not too bad considering we celebrated DW's b-day last night, and I threw my new dietary playbook out the window. In addition to evil pasta (Chicken Penne Marsala), I may have enjoyed a few of Dawg's meds in the process. :angel:

I'll be better next week. Probably. :rolleyes:

Hi, I will join this,

55 yr old, 5' 5", vegetarian, diabetic & also on some other medications which come in the way of losing weight as its side effect, partially disabled due to a road accident 6yrs back, presently 160 lbs & goal is 155 for now & then go for 150lbs.

- 8/17/09 --- 171 lbs
- 9/19/11 --- 160lbs

Two weeks back, increased work out days from 2 to 5 days/wk, joined my fitness pal & am recording the daily exercise & diet, which I think is helping me be aware of what I am eating & am eating better & am able to better controll the eating urges.
