Loud TV Commercials - FCC new rules

Effective 12/13/2012, the new rules governing loud TV commercials went into effect.

The website links an on-line complaint process, which I tried today. Like most bureaucratic processes it is unnecessarily complicated, but does allow input.

I have noticed a decided difference in sound levels in the past few days, but not all stations have gotten the word.

That's good to know as those overly loud TV commercials are a major annoyance.
