Scam......... how do you think is it some scam or can i give it a try?
recently i was contacted by some company, they said i won a certificate to pass a course in finance. i was kinda frightened because they had my full name and personal phone number, though i'm not the one who gives it right and left. then i got a notification from that my CV was reviewed at the site and the address of that company is the same as the one who called me. they agreed to meet me and give the certificate and so on. how do you think is it some scam or can i give it a try?

Oh you poor dear,
At least when I win a certificate, it is to a 4 night holiday in a resort, not something where I have to work.
What is the name of the company ? Nothing wrong with posting it here if it's legit they wouldn't mind , and wouldn't even know.
You can also search for the company name and certificate , just use keywords to see what shows up. Include the word scam and see what you get.
If it is not a scam, "best case" is that they will give you the certificate but try to try to hard sell you on something else... and even if you fight them off, they will have confirmed your number and who knows how much they will contact you (or sell it other organizations as someone who is "gullible"). To quote Monty Python, "RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY!"
hehe yeah, though i really wouldn't mind learning a bit about finance and stuff. but without putting my money at stake!!
they are called Trader School and looks like their website trader-school.com doesn't even exist so yeah, it speaks for itself
