I'm not sure why but Bloomberg seems to attract a lot of the lunatic fringe to its comment section. You normally expect it with sites like Politico or partisan sites like RedState but it Bloomberg seems to have become a magnet.

I will say that the quality of their journalism does seem to have gone down. But maybe that is true everywhere. The competition for eyeballs and the explosion of the internet has drawn in a lot of amateurs in "news" who can't overcome the desire to get out there first with a scoop.
