Anything cheap or free to allow simple photo editing like crops, etc.?
Download, shrink-wrap or online?

I don't want to spend much, and I don't want to struggle trying to learn the software.

Later, maybe I will want more. I use Windows XP and I-Ex.

Suggestions??

Thanks-

Ha,

My laptop has XP Home Edition. When I double-click a photo file, it is opened by Microsoft Office Picture Manager, which allows cropping, resizing, and minor tweaking of colors, brightness, and contrast, for example. Of course, this may be part of the Office Suite, and not part of XP...

The free Picasa download by Google rocks big time. Easy and quick, plus you can use their free web album feature. I use it for everything and it has an especially easy red-eye remover. I've just been using it to edit the St. Pat's party pictures and the only feature it is missing is the drunken fool filter!

Thanks for all the good suggestions!

Love Picassa. It automatically harvests all the pictures on your hard drive and sets them up in chronological files. Easy to modify pictures and also to email them as it automatically shrinks file size (compression).

Good tool to search your kid's computer for pornography too! >:D

The email feature is awesome, and I love the Picasa web albums--makes it easy to share photos with just friends or make them public. I like the simple crop tool, the red-eye remover, and the fill light slider--simple and easy to use.
