My 5th gen iPad Pro has been giving me problems, with the keyboard not responding to my touch. Very frustrating and time consuming to type. I went to T-Mobile thinking I would buy a new iPad Air and they told me the 9th generation iPad is on sale now for $99. It only has 64g of storage, less than my current one, but I am going to give it a shot. The risk is low and if I don’t like it, I can return it for a $40 restocking fee. If I do like it, I save about $1,000 vs any of the other newer models.

Their online page indicates it's $99 if you add a new line. Not being a T-Mobile customer in the first place (although our MVNO uses their network), we don't qualify. Shame. Much as I am thinking about the iPad Air, $99 for the 9th Gen iPad is well worth the money even if I were to go ahead and get the iPad Air also.

Yes, you do have to add a new line to get the promotion. After 120 days, you can drop the old line.

Or - on sale for $ 249 at Best Buy or Target
