Even I got five stars on this one, although certainly not in seven minutes, so it couldn't be that bad. My deluxe this week was a total bust . . .

When I was nearing the end of the puzzle, and on track for a five, I "fat-fingered" a swap, and a letter went to the square next to the one I was targeting. I thought I would have to settle for a four, but, lo and behold, I was able to create another double-swap to save the five!

I noticed that Waffle has an "archive" section. It contains all previous games. I've only played the last 20 days so it's nice having access to the full collection.

I feel that way about Out-To-Lunch, who has a streak of "five stars" going back, oh, to the beginning of this thread! Their tips have been very valuable. Mainly I had to stop trying to play by intuition (my usual approach to everything), and be methodical instead.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm even the same species as Amethyst; who has finished the entire game and gotten five stars before I've made my first move . . .
