Boy.....I lead a boring life. My travel is pretty much limited to going back and forth to my condo in Orange Beach, AL. Usually for a week a month. I took a road trip in 2015 to Santa Fe, NX(visit relatives), Grand Canyon, Las Vegas and southern Utah. Plan to take another rd trip late summer to Colorado and swing back through Santa Fe on the way back. As far as overseas travel goes, generally not my cup of tea. But might at some point if a group of friends puts a trip together. Most of my friends are still working tho.

Short answer, more than 10 national parks and more than 25 of the United States (most would just be repeats of those listed by others). A handful of balloon festivals--great fun!

A little different answer--When summertime hits here in new England we do a "staycation" and take full advantage of what is within 50 miles of us. The trick here is to work at it and seek out new things--restaurants, performing arts, museums, and old favorites too. Seek out free passes to things from your local library if you are trying to do things less expensively.

Last year my wife and I did a Trek Travel trip to Tuscany region in Italy with a bunch of friends.

I was the only one who wasn't a triathlete! OMG
Biking each day .. stops in small towns .. stayed i a few villas.

A great experience and the countryside is beautiful.

The last trip always seems like the best trip and that would have been the Dingle Peninsula in Ireland. Fantastic hiking, surprisingly good food and the Irish have to be the nicest people on earth.

Prior to that we hiked in Positano Italy which is one of the special places on Earth.

Prior to that it was hiking in Portugal, a hidden gem in Europe.

After many years of business travel, I’m happy to stay put. Only took a few trips the last 3 years

2016: Bermuda, Amsterdam, Paris, Aruba, Las Vegas
2017: Aruba
2018: Aruba

Plus many local New England trips and DC trips

Aruba by far is my favorite place

We have pretty nice Summers in my neck of the woods so we tend to stay in the general area give or take 200 miles in any direction.

Recent trip was to Portugal. I enjoyed it immensely, except for the fact that they put sweetened milk in coffee. YUK! Speaking of Portugal....Please stop spilling the beans about Portugal. It's already getting more expensive to visit. :(
