Looking for opinions and possible scenarios on a unique situation I’ve found myself in.

I bought into this EV play well before the expectation driven run up and subsequent drop when the USPS contract decision was announced. I was happy with a small position thinking long term with a $9 basis.

They challenged the USPS decision recently and some portion of a government contract would definitely give it a boost. What I don’t understand is the supposed short squeeze. If I understand it correctly, the price could easily overshoot what I would pay for it. So, I’m starting to consider exit strategies, but would hate to miss out on what could be a unique opportunity.

Don’t know if any of you are familiar with this stock but would appreciate any advice.

Betting on a short squeeze is more luck than anything. Plus market timing on when to get out. Workhorse has some real vehicles at least along with small contracts.
My stocks play account EV play is FSR Fisker. Also have some clean energy and lithium mining to capture the electric battery action.
Now Lordstown is probably a higher chance of going down.

Boy, this was one shady contract awarded to Oshkosh. POTUS comes out and basically says All electric government fleet and 2 weeks later, USPS awards a contract to OSHKOSH who didn’t even have an all electric vehicle.

Anyway.....I had over 6k shares at $2.50-$2.80 avg....so I may have an opinion:). I had sold my original investment on the run up so I’m fine but it was def a disappointment.

I still have 1500 shares thinking IF a short squeeze happened that would be nice but who knows. The big catalyst is gone (usps award) which is why I sold the majority of my shares.

I think there is more money to be made elsewhere at this point.

Thanks for the responses.

Montefecto, what would make you go from a maybe to a firm yes or no? Just curious.

I agree with you about Lordstown 38Chevy. I don’t see them surviving. This is in a similar play account with solar and MJ positions.

MM, makes sense that you took some off the table. I imagine the squeeze (if it happens) will be over and done with before any investigations and court cases are completed.

I guess I’ll just wait and watch. Reading outlandish claims about the potential spiral in SP got me wondering what you all thought. Ah well, You pay your money, you take your chances.

After the stock tanked after USPS contract announced, I looked at it for a possible bounce but did not buy. Generally I think these electric vehicle manufacturers are too speculative, and a LOT more competition is on the way for what is currently a very limited market in the US. I could buy on bad news as a trade.

I did buy Ford and I like their new models.
