WSJ can you afford to retire?

I read the WSJ for many years, but when they wanted full price for their on line version as well as full price for their printed version, I just stopped doing any business with them. That was probably 15 years ago. I am sure decisions like this helped me get to ER. Back to the subject - I hope that calculator works for you.

How does one delete the cookies? Most of the time, I can get around it but not with WSJ.

the link did not work for me. pay wall. I opened a new tab and searched for the general article. It let me to the calculator.... nothing special.

Yeah... I agree...
After I posted the new article, I did a theoretical on the calculator... Too squishy to be of much help.

I've had pretty good luck getting around paywalls by opening a private browser window, including for the WSJ in general.

Thank you for sharing. Note to others trying to use the calc, the earliest you can list as your retirement age is 62. Not helpful for someone like myself who wants to exit at 50.
