Bernanke's "Ten Suggestions"

Ben Bernanke gave the commencement address at Princeton. It is a short speech, filled with the kind of simple wisdom we appreciate around here. Anyone interested can read it in just a couple of minutes.

A good read and I particularly liked # 2.

Thanks, it was a good read. Several of them immediately reminded me of familiar adages.
1) Life is uncertain
2) Bloom where you're planted
3) Life isn't fair
5) All the world's a critic (don't criticize others without well founded alternative ideas of your own)
7) Money can't buy real happiness

It will be interesting to see how history ultimately remembers Bernanke. Some see him as a villain, others as a hero, and still others (maybe more accurately) as a Fed Chairman who made early (learning curve) mistakes, but learned on the job and has grown better and better.

I think he's done rather well considering the Congress he has had to work alongside.
