"CDilla" is frequently rooted out by these scanners, but it is part of TurboTax's copy protection and I've heard TurboTax won't run without it. I don't use TurboTax so I can't verify that. This is not an error on the adware/spyware vendors but obnoxious behavior on TurboTax's part.

Other than that, yeah, I'd delete everything.

Plenty of stuff found its way round SpyBots immunization on my work PCs, but these are PCs shared by a couple hundred bored guys, so no telling what they do to get it on there. Home users will probably have better luck with immunization.

AHHHHHH...maybe if I RTFM on some of these products I'd save myself some time...

BMJ - Cdilla was part of the 2002 tax year turbotax, and after intuit lost a lot of customers over that activation scheme, they abandoned it. I heard but cant (ok can but am too lazy to) confirm that they have a patch that lets 2002 run without cdilla.
