Only in Your State

While I was looking for pictures of the 1954 hurricane Carol in my state, I came across this website "Only in Your State".
Before you click on the link, which goes to pictures of places and things I remember from the 1950's, know that this is a tiny part of the website, which covers all kinds of information from every state. Pictures, stories, travelogs and many other interesting items.

If you get through the '50's pics, take a peek at the ones from the great depression of the 30's. There's one picture of mill workers houses that was not far from my home, and still looked like that when I was growing up 1936-1954
