Snow Storm hitting Eastern US

I wish everyone the best and a safe time for the day. It always amazes me that a snow storm makes the news and is the main story.

I do understand that it effects so many people but in rural America it is a snow storm and a winter day. It is nothing to be without power a few days when these storms hit and usually a few days to get road crews out to open roads.

This winter in the area I live we had about 4 so far and it is a good excuse to stay home and get things done or just sit and watch it snow. Lol

I hope and wish every one a safe one.

Stay safe. I was introduced to a way of thinking about a trip to the store during a storm. Is the loaf of bread(or whatever) worth your insurance deductible?

I just saw some FB posts from the middle of Pennsylvania, 17" seems to be the current totals.

About 4" for us. But there is sleet and rain coming down.
When this freezes tonight, it will be very slippery tomorrow.

"Don't drive angry". Always good advice. And it's Willie in these parts.

We had 16" here in northern NH. 300 feet of driveway cleared, now relaxing by the wood stove. I hope everyone was home safe during the storm.
