Been around 20 in northern Illinois for a few days. I'm getting ready for tomorrow's heat wave of 38

Long Beach, CA. Just finished 10 days in a row over 80 degrees. Finally only about 78 today. Might even drizzle tomorrow.

Forecast is for 42 today and 49 tomorrow, so I'm going to take the bike out for a ride.
I heard the call to do nothing. So I answered it.

Deep freeze is back this weekend for those of us in Wisconsin. It comes in late friday night and stays until monday. -5 for a low with -20 to -30 windchills. I, of course, have to work fri, sat, and sun nights so i'll be getting out of work at 5am at the coldest temp and have to stay outside to scrap off my windows. This weekend will be hell but if I survive i'll get 10 days off in a row so at least I have something to look forward to.
