Was I in the wrong for 'roughing' this guy up?

Yes, in fact I asked him and he consented. I also got his parents consent.

I actually had to take about 9 pictures as he always gives me this goofy scrunched up face smile when he sees me taking his picture.

Not only did the sandwich give its consent, it showed me everything while it was getting dressed.

Well, since you say it was getting dressed, that puts you in a "private dressing room" exception which is not covered by the section of the Texas Penal code Leonidas posted above. But it has its own section of the Penal code that really defines the concept of "Texas Justice".

Thank God CFB obtained the bacon and watermelon's consent as BOTH the following conditions must be met for the Texans to illegally enjoy the photograph:

(A) without the other person's consent; and
(B) with intent to arouse or gratify the sexual desire of any person;

I have to go show the photo to DH (now in day 12 of his ER) to see if part B works :)

Slightly back OT, next time, walk up to the guy snapping the photos, and say "She's the hottest prosecuting attorney I've ever seen; don't you think?"

How about: "She's pretty hot. For a trannie". :D That'll keep him thinking for a while.

Could have just walked over next to him, looked at him and yelled "Nah, I dont think they're fake..."

Uh oh, somebody's having a bayyyby... ;)

As wrong as this may be, may I present the BCWTP (Bacon, Cheese, Watermelon, Tomato and Pesto Sandwich)

Anyone who puts watermelon on a sandwich deserves to be escorted firmly to the door. No jury would convict for this crime against humanity.

I am thinking that The Fed perhaps had more than a casual interest in this lady?

If I were not paid security I can't imagine that I would have noticed any part of this “incident". At least not before Dudly DoRight came riding to the rescue.

My habit of avoiding trouble extends to females-eyes straight ahead. In any case, in my neighborhood a female may not be such.

I speak to or smile at women who speak to or smile at me first. Some days that may be quite a few. Or, very old women who have fallen down and need aid. Today I did speak to an aged lunatic whom I encountered at the fish market. She explained to me that the government and business was trying to kill off all the old people, by making food so expensive that oldsters would starve.

She also believed that cars should be banned because they cause smog, but cigarettes should be cheaper and OK to smoke wherever one wanted. The crosswalks would definitely be safer.

Ha

Oh my gosh....that was you? :eek: It was a pleasure to meet you. :)

not that your post is on topic OR deserves a response, but I'll humor you....

risky? How were those 2 examples risky? Hydroponics stores are alive and well across the country because in no way are they illegal. It was me exploring yet another money making opportunity.

yeah, yeah, yeah, I read all your rationalizations at the time. Yes, it can be legal, but you knew full well it would bring you in contact with people on the illegal side (and their money). You would be dancing on the edges. This is not a comment on our drug laws (which I largely disagree with), but it is just a fact that someone with a record, who claims to care about his wife and child would be well advised to stay 1,000,000 miles from contact with those circles.

I saw your interest in it as a sign that you crave risk. I'm not surprised if you don't see it, but it doesn't change it.

And as far as the cop goes....I dont take harassment from anyone...especially law enforcement.

Exactly. And doing so is risky behavior. Especially in those circumstances and with your history.

Addictions can take many forms. Your posts here lead me to believe that you are a risk addict.

Yep, world's a better place with thefed acting as judge, jury and executioner. :rolleyes:

I think its time for a change-up from bacon since it seems the pork product has become upsetting for some.

How about unusual cocktails? In honor of our farm share who seems hell bent on stuffing us so full of cucumbers (cough) that I give Gabe a half dozen to feed to anonymous horses on our way out of town, I offer this...given that its 105 degrees here today, it sounds very refreshing. For those nostalgic about bacon, add a bacon stirrer. Although I think a cinnamon stick might work better.

Melon Cucumber Smash

* 2 sprigs fresh mint
* 4 slices cucumber
* ¾ ounce simple syrup
* ¾ ounce fresh lime juice
* 2 ounces Bacardi Grand Melon rum
* chilled soda water

Tear mint sprigs and drop into a cocktail shaker with the cucumber slices. Muddle to bruise well. Add simple syrup, lime juice, and rum, and fill shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a large cocktail glass. Top with a splash of soda and float a cucumber slice for garnish.

Careful there CFB, your minty fresh alcoholic beverage post might offend non-drinking forum members. For those folks I highly recommend this; you may float a cucumber slice for garnish if you so desire.

Hey, that was his THIRD piece!

Actually I think thats the "You're kidding...grown people are arguing about this on the internet?" face.

Here's "Hey, this is that cheap supermarket bacon you use to wrap poppers in, not the good costco thick cut dry cured stuff!"

Speaking of which, when I was at Costco yesterday I saw that they now sell Kirkland brand real bacon bits in a 1.5lb resealable bag for $7. Pretty dang good if you regularly need lots of bacon bits...

i dont understand your reasoning here. i was doing NOTHING wrong. to the officer, my 'history' was not known, nor relevant to the 'circumstances' which I had nothing to do with! IE I had nothing to worry about. period. i'd like to see him detain me for walking to the front office of a hotel i was staying in. it's people who cower to these egotistical maniacs that further inflate their heads! I've been approached by several officers who were as polite and professional as anyone I've met, and I have no problem dealing with/respecting them. On the other hand, I've dealt with CROOKED rude and obnoxious cops that don't deserve their authoritative position. This guy was from the second group

end of rant. going to make a BLT minus the L and T.
