My employer uses Principal for our 401(k) program. Their little online "quiz" suggested an allocation of 50% in Large US Equity funds, 25% in Small/Mid US Equity, and 25% in International Equity. My fund choices are:
Large U.S. Equity: 50.00% of your contributions to match the Profile
Capital Research and Mgmt Co

I'm tempted to put 25% each in Vanguard Growth&Income Fund, Vanguard Explorer Fund, Principal LargeCap S&P 500 Index Separate Account, and LargeCap S&P 500 Index Separate Account So far, I've picked them because of their lower loads. I'm just curious what other people think of the various choices available to me.
