I've been crossing the country to get my care at a top-ranked medical center for 20 years. But after we move to Manhattan, I had been wondering whether instead of crossing the country to come here, I should go to SK, especially after my individual doctors (internal medicine and surgeon) retire.
One is half-retired already. Anybody with personal experience with SK and how they work?
Oddly, many years ago I gave SK platelets weekly before I left the city. But never had any patient-care experiences there at all.

There a few top-notch facilities in NYC, but for my money I stick with Sloan. They are great.

I'm far, far away, with no personal experience, but I do follow some web forums about cancer. I've read many positive things about SK, but I can't recall anything bad.

I trained there and still know lots of folks there. It is not just run by really smart docs- they are kind compassionate and just plain nice people top to bottom
