Weigh-in tomorrow, maybe the sore tooth has caused you to cut back on the calories this week?

Well, no, cause'm....ice cream goes down real easy....:blush: And I have missed a few workouts due to the pain. I predict a not so good weigh-in...a bit afraid to get on the scale! :nonono:

And yes, I am doing MUCH better over the past day or two...weaning myself off the pain meds...hopefully I will be able to celebrate with liquid meds soon!

I do hope you are feeling better soon.

Well, I wanted to maintain for a little while, but I think it's time to start dieting again. I'm shooting for 10 pounds by the end of June. Been on the Wii Fit every night this week trying to reach bodybuilder status in all the strength games and unlock all of them. I feel a little thrill when the trainer says "Wow, you're really strong." How sad is that?:blush: Of course, they still have the gall to tell me to my face that I'm overweight - which is something I need to hear I guess. :LOL:

What can I say? I'm off of my regular exercise routine still and boy does it show (still not feeling 100%). I've been letting little "cheating" incidents happen...a cookie here, a cookie there, at work...and it really adds up. Uggh. Sometimes it really sucks to face the reality that if I wanna stay thin, I gotta be good 90% of the time, not 70%....especially if I am unable to keep to my regular exercise routine. OK, self lecture over. Maybe now I will get serious again!

I know the feeling...been doing that myself lately. Last night I had a yearning for tortilla chips. Boy were they GOOD while I was eating them...then the guilt and stomach woozies started.:nonono:

Isn't that amazing? That sort of thing has happened to me many times and I always remember how I used to love whatever it was that had just given me the woozies.
 
Ok, it's been a couple of weeks, but my Tuesday weigh-in showed that I'm down another pound & a half, for a total of 25 lbs lost since December 15th! Whoo-hoo!

A side benefit / problem is that I'm getting rid of clothes that no longer fit because they are now too big, and I'm never going back to that size. But..... this means that I'm rapidly running out of clothes (because I was not one to hold on to "skinny" jeans, etc.).

So I'm looking for versatile, inexpensive yet cute clothes to hold me over until I get down to my target weight. This is proving to be not terribly easy. I suspect that a lot of elastic-waisted skirts are in my near future! ;)

Thanks guys. This week will be my last weigh-in for the next 6 weeks as we are going on a long road trip and we don't intend to take the scales with us.


DW has a muumuu that she often wears in the evenings and I really like them.

Same here...no [-]guilt[/-] weigh-ins for 2 weeks. :LOL: I managed to creep up 4 lbs from my lowest weight so far, so I am really going to have to focus on walking and swimming and eating sensibly while away. :whistle:

Back to working out on my normal schedule and cheating less! The results were better than I could have expected. I think the 124# was a bad reading (water weight or something?). Either way, I'll take the 121#!

I am going to start posting my weights here too, if that is OK! :)

I lost weight before my vacation, but that was a month ago and now I am just in holding pattern, and I want to lose more...

Simple girl - I seem to be almost like you, so I am going to use you for inspiration! I am 5' 3".

Urchina - I had a friend who would buy "mixed lots" of clothes on Ebay really cheap when she was losing baby weight. She got some really cute stuff along the way.

OK, here I go:

1/1/10: 133 (start of diet)
3/15/10: 124 (just before vacation)
4/20/10: 124

First goal: get below 120 by May 30th
Second goal: get to 115-117 range - AND STAY THERE

I thought today would be a good day to start, as I am traveling for the next 6 days; knowing I have to post again as soon as I get back will help me stay on target as I eat all my meals out!
