I know for sure. MEDICARE DOES NOT. But if you are a veteran with VA RATED hearing loss (usually they rate high frequency hearing loss). Even if the VA rating is 0% the VA will provide hearing aids AND batteries (you send in a post card every 6 months and they send you a 6 month supply). Generally, they will CONSIDER you for new ones at 5 years - you can return for adjustment if necessary at any time.
No Medicare does not pay for hearing aids, per se. Medicaid will furnish one hearing aid every 6 years. There State agencies that will provide hearing aids and at the same time provide vocational training for employement.
To reiterate, Medicare do not pay for hearing aids.
But, whether Medicaid pays for hearing aids depends on the state. The federal goverment classifies hearing aids as an optional Medicaid benefit, so not all states offer it.
