Generally speaking, which one do you think provides the best way to have a successful life?

d) None of the above.

Successful living is all about attitude. :D

Common Sense is vastly under rated. Common sense can allow you to learn from others mistakes in the School of Hard Knocks and still receive education to a level you are comfortable with while avoiding the waste of becoming an educated idiot.

PS I also agree with sgeeeeeeeee a certain amount as well!!! (gotta hedge my bets cause we are having coffee this weekend!)

Everyone eventually learns or else dies. Just in different ways and not necessarily the first time.

Our kid is highly educated by us experienced parents, then we show her an additional common-sense method or two, and finally she learns via the school of hard knocks.

A degree because otherwise your resume will not make it past the HR drone.

Both of my parents have a degree from the SoHK. My husband has a degree from a university.

I fall in the middle with common sense.
