Not that hard to find books regarding finances ( so many out there it gets confusing). Two that I particularly recommend speak more to your relationship with money as opposed to investment strategies, the former of which I personally find as a better foundation from which to build upon ...

1) The Millionaire Next Door
2) Your Money or or Life

Once I got to point where I thought I had my finances moving in the right direction, I felt I had a void in figuring out what I was going to do with myself once I retired. It all started with a early retirement test I found in a magazine. The test was to list 30 things I would do with my time, assuming I was financially independent once I ended my career. I flunked the test (i.e. so they say I will flunk early retirement). Since then I have been trying to find books, and magzine articles to give me guidance as to what I need to do to be able to pass the test. Some of the books I would recommend follow:

a) What Color Is Your Parachute For Retirement
b) Don't Retire, Rewire
c) The Joy of Not Working
d) How to Retire Happy, Wild, and Free
e) Work Less, Live More
f) Get a Life, You Do Not Need a Million to Retire Well

Would interested in books others recommend and/or issues you have with my recommended reading list.

Thanks
