2023 Investment Performance Thread

16.49% on the liquid portion of our investable assets, which is 87%/0%/13%. Non-liquid assets are investment real estate, which make up 70% of our total investments. That portion is probably down about 8-9%.

I am up 28% across my portfolio YTD.

Current AA (equities / bonds / cash / crypto) = 81.8% / 4.7% / 13.3% / 0.2%

Not included in what I indicated above is a 2.5% gain on RE / personal property equity.

Overall NW is up 17% YTD.

I am now at 65% of my goal FI target.

May -0.2%
YTD +5.45%
1 year +0.6% (Estimated - actual is better as I wasn't doing weekly or month end snapshots, this is compared to 5/13/23 and since the market was falling, my YoY comparison would be better.)
Since 12/31/20 +3.3%
Since 12/31/19 +18.2% (ha ha, including these longer term numbers makes me feel better)

Also, I've been doing some house improvements, so spending money like water (and thus withdrawing funds).

Ytd +4.75%. 80/20aa.

YTD +4.1% excl contrib, +7.0% incl contrib, NW +8.6%
Investments from 12/2021 peak -2.5% incl contrib
Actual AA 75/19/6, target AA 74/20/6

Here's my latest...

1/31/2023: +7.08% YTD.
2/28/2023: +4.22% YTD.
3/31/2023: +7.18% YTD.
4/28/2023: +8.40% YTD.
5/31/2023: +8.96% YTD.

I think I topped out around 5/26, up around 9.5%, so it's cooled a bit since then. Still, I'm not complaining!

Lagging some but fairly comfortable with 4.75 ytd.

50/50 portfolio total is +3.44% - 2023 YTD balance. Performance is similar.

Spotlight on her 55/45 TSA - 5.27% YTD rate of return. 55% in an S&P500 fund in combination with a GI fund (3% yield). In the process of moving that away from insurance company. What BS!

-1.57% for May; +4.24% YTD.

75% stock/20% fixed/5% cash allocation

For May, the winners were the money market funds. The losers were our dividend stocks.

7.81% YTD with 53/25/22 allocation. 22% cash is for a house purchase in Tennessee closing June 28th. Cash is in VUSXX Treasury Money Market.
