Took my novice at Allied Radio in 1958 at age 6 but failed the code by 1 letter. Finally passed general in 1963 at age 11, been active ever since. I'm on the testing team at Flex radio and totally SDR here. Mainly CW.

Always had an interest in Ham radio but found Morse code difficult to learn.
In 2004 after retiring I finally went to a test session. I passed up to General at the first test session, missed extra by just a few answers.
Only because I'm good at multiple choice tests did I barely pass for an Extra class license, on the 2nd attempt.
My interest is mostly vintage equipment
