I got a robo call this morning from my cc's fraud dept. saying that 'due to some accounts being compromised...unnamed merchant....' they will be sending me a new card and deactivating the old one. Funny thing is I got this replacement card not a week before the Target breach, and shopped at Target during the affected timeframe. I got the replacement card because my cc's fraud dept. detected unauthorized use of my card in another state the same day that I used my card at my local grocery store. Funny thing...the unauthorized use was at a Target store .
